Sail In Asia isable to offer a range of IYT Recreational Yachting courses at the Royal Selangor Yacht Club near Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. RSYC will run Learn to Sail courses every month and this will be supplemented by Weekender courses again on a monthly basis.
Sail in Asia is unique in that we will be the only IYT Sea School in Malaysia able to offer Offshore and Coastal Recreational Training. Students can attain the International Certificate of Competence (I.C.C) with our Zero to Hero Courses. The IYT Bareboat and Flotilla Skipper Certificates are accepted by all major yacht charter companies and many insurance companies offer discounted premiums to those who hold IYT qualifications.
Candidates will be taught on superb sail training vessels. Students who wish to take the recreational Yachtmaster Coastal and Yachtmaster Offshore certification will be able to accumulate the necessary sea miles by joining our Milecatcher trips from RSYC at Port Klang to Puteri Harbour, Lumut and to Penang.
