Yacht Training in Asia offers International Schools the choice of three Duke of Edinburgh Awards Options for Students, Bronze Award, Silver Award, and Gold Award.
The Bronze Medallion Award can be earned by completing our three or four day Learn to Sail program with one night under canvas on an island.
The Silver Award can be earned by completing a three or four day adventure course. This can include two days learning to sail and two days on an expedition to an outlying island. The trip may also qualify the students for the IYT International Crew Certificate.
The Bronze and Silver Medallion can include a Multi Activity program which can include canoeing and camping on remote outlying tropical islands in Krabi or Phuket and its nearby sister islands. Check out the videos below and call us to discuss the options for your school group.
The Gold Award adventurous journey can be assessed by students participation and planning of a four or five day expedition. Students are assessed by light touch teacher observation. We provide a support vessel for kayak expeditions.
