The apprenticeship is an all encompassing one where your ability to work with a variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds will be tested. As well as sailing skills you will need to develop your 'people skills'. Ours is a business that requires everyone involved works well with our customers and always deliver a great experience to them. An Internship Bond is paid by the intern and held by the company. It is repayable to students who successfully complete the full contracted period of the training. This bond ensures that interns complete their training and do not leave early. Interns are an important part of our community and we need to know that they will be there for the agreed duration.
The Yachting Internship Thailand is a big undertaking for both Sail In Asia and interns themselves. We have found the experience more successful if both parties have clear objectives from the outset. Our interns are selected not only because we feel that they have a high chance of success, but because they can contribute to the on-going success of our company. Shared objectives are a good way to help ensure that this is what actually happens. To this end we agree with each intern a special project to run as a part of the overall intern program.
Our Internships have been running for five years and we have been very lucky with the quality of the interns we have trained. Personality is really important and our customers have ofter commented on the superb customer service that they have had during the courses they have attended.
