Yacht Training in Asia offers International Schools the choice of three Duke of Edinburgh Awards Options for Students, Bronze Award, Silver Award, and Gold Award. The Bronze Medallion Award can be earned by completing our two day Learn to Sail programme with one night under canvas on an island and culminating in a half day trip to an island (with safety cover).

The Silver Award can be earned by completing a three or four day adenture course. This can include two days learning to sail and two days on an expedition to an outlying island. The trip also qualifies the students for the IYT International Crew Certificate.

The Bronze and Silver Medallion can include a Multi Activity program which includes climbing and high wire activity as well as sailing and diving. Check out the video below and call us to discuss the options you would like included in your trip.

Gold Award students must complete a residential project. This can include working for a period, in a Sailing School or Watersports Activity Centre. (Applicants may apply only with the recommendation of their Duke of Edinburgh awards co ordinator in their school).
