The New Weekender Yacht Charter is not a Course but is an opportunity for weekend sailing with Sail in Asia's boats. Ex-clients can refresh their skills and boat handling and enjoy sailing our yachtss around the islands of SE Phuket or just try something new.

The Weekender yacht charter can be a regular event that you can join by yourself or by bringing along some friends. Our school provides you with a skipper / instructor to accompany you to ensure your safety and if you wish give you a little instruction. Their role is to enable your sailing and keep you safe! If you are very experienced we may well allow you to sail one of our boats without our skipper instructor. Its a question of experience and skill.

The Weekender Yacht Charteris for sailors with some sailing ability and some theoretical knowledge who wish perhaps to be come skippers, navigators collect mileage, or most important of all just GO SAILING FOR FUN!
It is not a course. Maybe you hold the IYT International Crew certificate or Learn to Sail Certificate. The Weekender Yacht Charter - is all about indulgence, fine wine, a picnic, shared with friends, family or just a romantic day out on a yacht, in tropical Phuket.
The New Weekender will be available in Phuket and Pattaya in 2020. The dates are flexible, so contact us. This sailing experience will help improve your basic boat handling and perhaps navigation abilities. It will deepen your knowledge of the sport of sailing whilst you get a fun filled weekend. This means that even if you are an accomplished sailor, you can join other weekend sailors and just ENJOY our superb sailing environment in SE Phuket.
For some people there may be an opportunity to practice their Watchkeeper and Bareboat Skipper skills. This Weekender will give you more practice in sailing and handling the yacht. (You need to continue to improve and build on these skills as you progress through the training scheme).

Basic instruction and guidance
Previous experience: none required
Duration: 1 or 2 days
Qualifications: NIL but we will sign your logbook and you get miles and experience
What's included: Safety equipment, Skipper/Instruction, Yacht, Bottled Water, Fuel and Insurance
What's required: Sun protection. Sun hat. Shorts that cover the knees when sitting are best. Footwear for on-board tennis shoes / trainers / Crocs. Some people like to use gloves. Lightweight wet weather clothing.
